All eyes will be on West Indies who have named a star-studded squad for the 2021 T20 World Cup, which is all set to start on October 17.
With a squad filled with power hitters and match winners, the defending champions will be once again favorites for the title.
The marquee tournament will be played in the UAE and Oman from October 17 to November 14. The event was initially scheduled in India, however, was moved out after worsening the COVID-19 situation in the country. The hosting rights are still with the country.
West Indies are placed in Group 1 of the event, which is also being referred to as a ‘Group of Death’, primarily due to the presence of stronger teams including West Indies, Australia, England, and South Africa.
