Defending Champions Multan Sultans are all set to take on the runner-ups of the Pakistan Super League sixth edition (PSL 6) Karachi Kings in the inaugural match of the PSL 7. (Watch PSL 7 Live streaming on crickwick.com.)

The two sides were the finalists of the sixth edition of the PSL and would be locking horns once again to formally kickoff the seventh edition of the PSL in Karachi. However, things would be much different at the helms of affairs for both sides.

For Karachi, they will have renewed energy with an overhauled outlook thanks to the new captain and the coach, and with the addition of so many valuable players.

The new management has brought back Chris Jordan and Lewis Gregory. They have the services of Tom Abell, and Romario Shepherd to strengthen their bowling and batting.

The new lot, when combined with the likes of Babar Azam, the new captain, Mohammad Amir, and Sharjeel Khan will make Karachi a formidable side.

Multan, on the other hand, have further strengthened their batting with the addition of Australia’s Tim David, and their all-rounder slots with the inclusion of two West Indian all-rounders; Odean Smith and ), Rovman Powell.

Further, they have a dynamic captain in the shape of Mohammad Rizwan, they have Shan Masood, as well as the PSL 6 hero Shahnawaz Dahani.

On paper, both sides look balanced and the Thursday’s match will surely be a treat to watch for the fans as well.
