Pakistan vs West Indies Schedule Announced

West Indies will tour to Pakistan for a three-match Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) and as many One-Day Internationals (ODIs) in December this year, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed in a statement on Thursday. The schedule for Pakistan vs West Indies is given below.

The cricket board also announced the schedule for the series between Pakistan and India which will be played at the National Stadium of Karachi between December 13 and 22.

The three T20Is will be played on December 13, 14, and 16 while the ODIs will be played on December 18, 20, and 22.

This will be the Caribbean side’s first tour of Pakistan since 2018 when they visited for three T20Is. The ODI series, however, will be their first in Pakistan since 2005-06.

The confirmation of the series will revive PCB’s efforts to portray Pakistan as a safe place for international cricket, which was badly affected by the abrupt departure of New Zealand and the cancellation of the England tour in September and October.

Commenting on the development, the cricket board chairman Ramiz Raja said:

“After missing out on home internationals in September and October, the West Indies tour will formally kick-off of an exciting and entertaining season of men’s international cricket in Pakistan with HBL Pakistan Super League 2022 and Australia’s first full series to follow.

“The West Indies have always remained one of Pakistan cricket fans’ favourite sides. I am hopeful that the NCOC will support this series by allowing maximum crowds so that the fans can watch live in action their favourite players and back both the sides.”
