Sarfaraz-less Sindh will take on Rizwan-less Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) in the 25th match of the National T20 Cup. The day-night match will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
With Sarfaraz and Rizwan and all other T20 World Cup-bound cricketers quarantined, the two sides will have the best chance to test their benches.
KP had won their last encounter against Sindh, courtesy of a strong bowling display. They sit comfortably with 10 points and so does Sindh.
With five wins out of eight matches, Sindh are still on the top as they maintain a better run rate as well. If KP win today, they will dethrone Sindh to reclaim the top spot on the points table.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa stand-in captain Iftikhar Ahmed won the toss and chose to field first.
Head to Head
Overall, KP have a slight advantage over Sindh as they have won four out of six games played between the two sides since the tournament so far. If we take into count the games played after the revamped domestic system, then both sides are square with two wins each.
