After beating India by ten wickets in the first game, Pakistan will be high on confidence when they take on New Zealand in their second T20 World Cup 2021 game in Sharjah on Tuesday.
The game against New Zealand will be equally tense, with a different kind of tussle reigning in, especially after Kiwis abandoned Pakistan’s tour last month just minutes before the first ODI was set to start in Rawalpindi.
However, New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson insisted on the eve of the game that there will be no hostility between the two sides.

While Pakistan bank on their unpredictability, New Zealand would rely on their phenomenal record at International Cricket Council (ICC) events. Although they are going into the tournament with an underdogs tag, they are dark horses and have the ability to defeat any opposition on a given day.
List of All Babar Azam Centuries in International Cricket
New Zealand take pride in their experienced bowling line-up with the presence of Tim Southee, Trent Boult and Mitchel Santner. It gets even better with the presence of Ish Sodhi and Lockie Ferguson.
The biggest challenge for Kane William’s side will be to outsmart Pakistan’s versatile bowling lineup. If they manage to survive the Shaheen Afridi scare and manage to launch an early onslaught, they will have a fair chance of winning the game tonight and making three each in the T20 World Cups against Pakistan.
Pakistan, on the other hand, are quite a balanced side. They have in-form top-order, experienced middle-order and capable all-rounders down the order. With Shaheen leading the pack, their bowling attack is lethal and battle-proven.
Although UAE is Pakistan’s stronghold, New Zealand have acclimatised to the conditions well as seven of their key players spent the last two months here playing IPL. They would be a hard nut to crack for Pakistan.
